The Lemon Tree: An Arab, a Jew, and the Heart of the Middle East

The Lemon Tree: An Arab, a Jew, and the Heart of the Middle East - Sandy Tolan Just finished this book and it is a fantastic read and a great insight into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, For anyone interested in understanding the conflict that is going on I think this is a great book to start with. However I did find parts of the book tedious and that is why I gave it four stars instead of 5 although when finished I was so glad I stayed with it as I feel that I now have a better understanding of the conflict. I had previously completed Mornings in Jenin which I enjoyed very much and feel that[b:Mornings in Jenin|6692041|Mornings in Jenin|Susan Abulhawa|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51KRkhuKjrL._SL75_.jpg|311976]is the book I would recommend to a friend and know she would not be disappointed. While The Lemon Tree is one I would definatly suggest for someone who interested in the politics of the conflict.
