Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea

Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea - Barbara Demick This is very interesting look at the lives of Ordinary people in North Korea, there were parts of the book that shocked me as I had very little knowledge of North Korea and this book puts a very human face on life in this country. On the inside of the first page of this book is a satellite night time picture of North and south Korea and China in the middle of the picture is a dark spot north Korea a nation of 23 million people that has little electricity, while south Korea is blazing with light. A great opening picture.
