1984 - George Orwell, Erich Fromm I loved the idea for this book and found the story quite intriguing. I loved the storyline and I enjoyed the characters. I found it a slow read as you had to concentrate and sometimes re-read parts of the story in order to understand fully whant was happening. while I found it a very interesting and bizarre read I found the ending lacking and had hoped for more, Would I recommend it to my friends to read I think not as this is a book you pick up by choice and its not one I would recommend, although I am glad I read it and would have given it 3.5 stars if I could. I had previously read Animal farm and enjoyed it much more.
